Behind the Wang Repair Cafe Motto

Reduce

First and foremost, we need to reduce the rate of consumption of products. This can be done by making smart choices including limiting splurge purchases and choosing to reuse or repair items around the house.

Re-Use

A vital step in the reduction of waste to landfill. Keep using what you've got until it' has absolutely reached the end of its life. Consume less, save money.

We can help with that...

Repair

Oops! It's broken! That's where we come in. Our team of skilled volunteers love to tinker and keep your prized possessions in your hot little hands for as long as possible. We'll give it a new lease on life, or help you recycle it responsibly.

Our Events

We meet on the third Sunday of the month at the Wangaratta Community Market at Moore Than Swimming - 11 Mason St.

Our next event is Sunday 15th February 8am - 12pm

We're part of a global movement helping reduce waste through unnecessary consumption.

Wang Repair Café (“WRC”), including all involved volunteers, accepts no liability whatsoever in relation to any repairs or services provided by WRC and its volunteers. WRC volunteers are not professional repairers, and our offer is to assist people to repair their items, provide repair supplies and repair advice.
